When to Listen: When you're craving some serious soul.
When you start listening to soul, you're in it for a few days at least. So carrying on from yesterday's post, here's another great soul artist: Etta James. You probably recognize the opening of this song from either Avicii's Levels or Flo Rida's Good Feeling but you have to give credit where credit is due and Etta definitely deserves credit for her voice. Plus, now you have another interesting party fact the next time Levels comes on at a party! (Making you cooler, one post at a time...). Etta's voice is to die for- so full of soul and emotion. Such a shame that she passed away in January. So much talent lost to the world...
