How to Listen: Put on headphones for this one- it's an eardrum massage.
The first time I came across this one by Rodrigo y Gabriela, is was wearing headphones and playing my music loud, as always. I'm not kidding when I say it's an ear massage. That muted strumming by Gabriela at the beginning is soooo nice on the ears. I don't have a better description other than to say my ears just relaxed. Other than that, spanish guitar is amazing. If you don't believe me just watch that video- their hands move so fast it looks like they have 10 fingers on each hand. I feel like I would need 10 more fingers to play this- my stubby, slow fingers could never keep up. Rodrigo y Gabriela also do a fantastic cover of Stairway to Heaven which I highly recommend.
